Activity/ Pepeha template.

This week was the second  Summer Learning Journey activity.Our activity is about pepeha we had to writh our country or we we live and what our name .we had to make the English  words into Maori words. We had to go on the google maps and find out we you are from.

Activity 1 : New Zealand royalty.

This week was the start of the Summer Learning Journey.We had to make a DLO of our first activity which was about lorde. I worked  by my  self  we had to work and  finish this activity. We needed to create a DLO about Lorde the famous New Zealand singer.

Kiwi sport

L.I To play 1 one 1 and also play signal.

This week for kiwi sport we are play tennis 1 on 1 we had to try get the ball out line. The first thing we had to do try not get the ball out and also try and a bet the other person and that you can be the champion and bet the person that is still in. I had so much fun today with the whole class playing tennis.

This week we are learning about how we can respected other for their different.Our theam this week is respect and our topic is respect others. We played two different game the first game we played was called mirror on person had to start on the other side and the other person had to copy the other person on the other side the we had to switch and the other person had to do what the person is doing. Then we played another game tat was called basketball hoop in your group their should be 3 people and  the last person has to try and  get the ball in the hoop and you have to get a point for your term and the term that more points was the winner.

Moari

This week for Maori we are learning how to say Maori day of the week and the moths of the year. We had to go  on the google docs and fill it out the docs. Yesterday we had other task we had to do was called Maori Time we had to use face clock generator to make the clock and the time to put on the google docs that we had to fill in or out.

This week for moari we are learning how translate moari numbers English numbers. The first thing we had to do i was read the number in moari and put them into English numbers. We had to use clock face general.

This week we had been making our poster for our school market day today.The things we are selling are frames we are making big frame and small frame we had to do this task in a group of 5.

To put around our school so people can buy our frames.

L.I: To play doubles tennis
Doubles tennis is when two player on against another two player.
Both player on each team should have turns at waiting the ball.
The person closer to the ball should hit the ball. We practised by
playing doubles.

L.I: To respected other for their different.

At kiwi can we are learning about everyone has their own beliefs ideas and customs.Also we learned about hold your tongue mean you have to think of what you are going to say before you talk. The other thing we learn about was people cultures and religions and customs.

Basic fact

Today i have said to myself i should do  basic facts the box i have did was up to 5's and to 20's 

when i had done all the box and they all say good i could blog it but if it say good luck next time i will need to have a try next time and get that answer fast next time i do basic facts box. The basic facts box took me  40 mints and 35 scandals 

SSR Selfie

This week for  reading we are talking about SSR selfie we have to read our library book for 15 muint when we had finish reading our book we had to make and copy of my side we did and talk about our book. We all had to write our name on our side so people in our group on that ur slide when we had  put and tile when we are done.

Athletics Day

Last week Friday we had athletics day. The people in there class had to in a group of there colours. After morning tea had to do 10 game around the school for 10 mints. On each game we had to get a point for our team. Then at the end of the activity the group that had so many point was the winner.

Writing

L.I:to revise the structure of a recount and reaffirm the making criteria 

This week for writing we needed to write a story about Patricia and Jaerrell. First we needed to get into groups and write down a character description. Every person from each group needed to stand up and tell us some characters. If the other group got the most votes then we would need to do the character that they did. The characters that were picked was Patricia, and Jaerrell.

This week for kiwi sport we are learning how to play tennis.The first thing we had to do for kiwi sport was to find a bat that on the ground. When we have a bat we had to pick a ball that on the ground a hit it up the person on the other side of the counters, After that we had to throw the ball on other side.Then
we had to past the ball on the counters to the person in your group.

Inquiry/Coffee game.

This week for inquiry we had to play a game called coffee shop this game is when you have to make your own coffee shop when you have finish our first game and we have a lost of money then we can

take screenshot  at the end of the game we have to have 14 screen shot down on a google slide and at the end of the google you have a screencastify with you playing the game and how to you played and 

how much money you got altogether 

Maths

L.I To measure and time the airplane.

This week for maths we had to measure and time the airplane. My Prediction was
I think my airplane would be in the air for 10 seconds/My airplane will go 1  meter away.

Why: It would be in the air for 10 seconds because the wingspan is 15 cm. It  would fly two meters because the airplane only spins. Our prediction that we made as a group was incorrect because our airplane flew 6 seconds and did not fly for 10 seconds

My Prediction was Incorrect because my Airplane  went further than 1 meter. We made 3 Graphs one was Distance,Timer and Distance and timer.
I learned how to make a origami airplane(High velocity)

Reading

This week for reading i am reading a book called A lion song. This book is about a boy his wake up is a find day happy and excited because want to catch a song from the top of the mountain. when mum ask the little boy were he going the little boy say that he going to the mountain to a song. On his way back home he r ember that it his mum birthday today so on his way back home he brought something for his mum.
