Problem.

In this Activity, this was a Math problem we had to explain. A Cactus are able to survive on as little as
3 millimeters (ML) of water a day. To keep the Cactus alive we must give 3 ML of water every day. Over one full year, how much water will you need to give your cactus a plant? To solve this problem I searched how much days in a year. A total of 365 days came up. Then I times (X) the 365 with 3ml. i think the answer for this is 1095 ml.

Nelson mandela


This week for inquiry we had to make and presentation about nelson mandela same of the people in Ls1 do different people. But i did nelson mandela the people in my group was  kaitlyn and afatia we made and presentation about nelson mandela we had to find information about him nelson mandela die in 5 december 2013 nelson had 3 wife one of them where called evelyn Natok nelson mandela and evelyn had 4 kids but the other 2 kids die in 9 months old  nelson pregnant had to 12 kids all together plus his to that make 13 kids when nelson mandela die he he was 93 he die before all of his kids. Maori

Today for maori we learn about place and inlands so the one i did was Hamilton and wellington the inland for Hamilton and wellington is sorth inland and North inland.The 2 thing i learn at maori today is where the inland a why the islands are there i thing the islands are there because it was the first inland to be here before new zealand come up i think. Reading

yesterday i guess to finish my Venn Diagram Characters so i got same help for same from and different group. The prson that help we told me to do the 3 charters in the story so the 3 mane chapters in the story were barry,Matt and barry's father after put the 3 chapters i had to think this about barry so what i put in barry is nad boy he is so funny his like to play and he also like the water and he is so nice to Matt and he  also helpful. What i wrti on Matt i said he has and long hire is so funny same thing his has no stealing to play with so we play with  barry same time he like to play by himself and in the middle i put the are boy they are funny they both like water the like and want to go to the deep water cover for the weekend with barry's father.

LI: To identify the verb tenses: present simple, past continuous and future continuous. This week for writing we made short videos of the present simple, past continuous and future continuous tenses. First we got into partners. We couldn't work with the same partner from last week. My partner was Angelica. We had to make twenty verbs which were not the verbs from last week. We only made seven videos of seven verbs. We had to inflect all of the verbs.

Reading


This week for reading we did one of the follow up tasks and the task that I did was Information about the author. First I made a google slide and then went on a different tab and searched up information about the author of my book. Then when I finished I found information about when we was born was is her favorite food and what she like yo do so here is the google slide.

Today we did basic Facts Boxes. Its when you do Addition, Subtraction, and Time Tables. The first layer that I did was Addition and Subtraction. We had to work by ourselves for this can do. This is easy and Hard. Addition are easy and Subtraction but the time table isn't.

yesterday at kiwi sport we did box the first move we did was jab jab cross cross up a cut  2 time then we had to restart it again and same had to go up so pac and do it to us after we ahd done that we ahd to sit back down so she can tell us again then we all had to stand up and want to pac say 1 then we had do one or 2 set back down and then pac said take off your gloves and put them were you find them the we had to go because the next class is comeing.

L.I to learn about peace
Today we had to find a partner and my partner was kaitlyn and we had to go on the class site and find the world what is peace then we had to click it and work on it but first we had to make and copy and then we had to work on it. When we were working on it we had to find photo on the google side we both had to find do each of the photo i did the photo that show all the war in  world war 1 i was so happy i did this one.


After we did own world on each photo we had made and what that starts with the letter we had to make and sent with the world in it after we did that we had to make and google drew about what is peace and then we had to blog it after we had done it what is peace i had a lost of information about peace.

Kiwi can



LI: To learn what an Enviroment is and things that help respect our enviroment.


This week for Kiwican our Theme was Respect and Our Topic was Respecting our Enviroment. We learned what an Enviroment is, How to help it, What can damage it and other things that included Our Topic.We played 2 Games called 4 Corners and Invisible Tag.

To play 4 Corners there needs to be 1 Person in the middle Called 'The Centre Piece'. The caller needed to call out what type of action the other players needed to do while they chose a corner. The players needed to choose a corner to go to and the Centre Piece had to choose which corner was the loudest. The corner that the centre piece chooses it out.

Cybersmart


Today for cybersmart we were learning about how you get more information about what you want on google so we said keywords,questions about what you are getting information and then our teacher told us are game and we had to find the answer and the games are for how you know what to do when you are playing games or that you are look for information and that google from is are quiz so you guy have to answer the question that I wrote on the google form and some question you might get the get it right and when you finshed answer all the question then you will have to peers submit.

Kiwi sport

yesterday at kiwi sport we learn how to do jab jab cross and we also did jab jab cross right up a cut lift up a cut then we had to play paper sit rock to see who get the glove and who get the nolledle after we played one person who one had to go and get the glove and the person who lose get the nooled then we had to sit back on the ground and wait for pax to show us what is next to do then we had to stand back  up and say jab jab cross fast and do the other moves to.

Verbs


L.I: To identify verb tenses: past, future, and present continuous.
This week for Writing we looked at three different tenses, past, future, and present continuous. We then had to make a list of 20 verbs and show a video or photo of one of the inflections (tenses). I partnered up with Florence and Angelica. Usually to make a simple future tense, we add a "will" in front of the verb. For example, will jump. This means it hasn't yet happened. To make a present continuous tense, we add "ing" at the end of the verb. This means it is currently and still happening. Usually to make simple past tense, we add an "ed" or "d". This means that it has already happened. Our D.L.O was a presentation because it was the best to showcase all the verbs in one format. Different verbs show all their different tense of form. We used one tense for a verb and showed it with either a picture or video. I found it a little difficult to complete videos and photos for all 20 verbs, but it was fun to think of ideas to do for them and work with my partners to create some of them.

Trench

L.L is to learn the Effects and Causes that happened in WW1.
This Week in Inquiry we have been learning about the conflicts that has happened. This week we learned about the trenches. Some parts of the Trench's is the Dugout. the dugout is a place where soilders can Sleep, eat and drink.

Math

This week for Maths my maths group were learning about how to tell the time. The first thing I did was make a DLO about time and have information on it. After I made that I put the clock images on then I wrote down information about what shows on the clock. Later on I did information about Why we use Time, What is time and How time works and other information about it. I learnt how to make a DLO about how to tell the time and other information about time. How I learnt was to make a google drawing and write down information about how to tell the time.

Kiwi can

L.I to learn about the community and respect.
For kiwi can we were learning about the new topic which is respect in others and community. Then we were told that we had a new topic and it was respect for our community. After that we played a game the game name was called "Hand ball" in the game we had to go into a circle and use one hand to hit into the other peoples legs.. Then we sat back into our four lines and talked about Respect to our community after that we played another game an it was called hand soccer in the game if you get into groups and number your selves off and the numbers that are called have to run to the cone and get the ball into the goal.. The game was fun because it included fitness and thinking about where your going.

Rhyme



Today i am going to talk about why is Rhyme and how you cloud do rhyming.

Paikea



L.I to show what we have learnt from Maori.
In Maori we were learning about the whale rider which is a movie about a maori person. The Maori teacher read us a book and it was called Paikea . Paikea is the name of the whale. After she read us the book she told us to go on google maps and find where Whangara is, and where the school is. This book was inappropriate for me and other kids in my class thought that but the book was a good book that read to me and half of my class.

For kiwi can we were learning about the new topic which is respect in others and community. Then we were told that we had a new topic and it was respect for our community. After that we played a game the game name was called "Catch me if you can" in the game we had to get into a circle we had to but our left hand flat and then the person on your left hand will put his finger in the middle of your left hand then the person on your right will put his hand flat and you had to put your finger in the middle then once our teacher said go we had to try and escape and catch someone finger I lost on the second round. Then we sat back into our four lines and talked about Respect to our community after that we played another game an it was called ten second tag in the game if your name was called then you are the tagger if you are the tagger for ten seconds then your out of the game. The game was fun because it included fitness and thinking about where your going.

Writing

LI: to evaluate writing samples using the PBS writing rubric.
For Writing we were learning about how to check our work by our self and letting others check our work as well. We had to write a recount about family time and check the recount for structure and language. We also when we got to the mat we had to give our own Chromebook to someone next to you and then someone across the room. This will let someone that you don't really play with check the work to help with social skills.

Mounted Art

L.I to learn and complete your art.
This week we have been learning about the famous artist from NZ Max Gimblett. He has painted Quatrefoils and has done this for the remembrance. This art session was cool doing this on computers but now we are going to do it on paper. This has made me be more creative then ever. We have learnt that the famous artist Max Gimblett is a really famous person because some of his art is all around the world. Interschool touch


This week Tuesday panmure bridge went to Dunkirk field for a touch tournament. LS1 and LS2 got split into 4 groups. We lost to stone fields, We lost to Sylvia park, Lost to panmure district, Lost to  Sylvia park again. But at the end we all had fun.

The armistice day one was designed like it was because the poppies represent the peace for the end of war and the cross's represent those that took risks. The reason why I chose the design for the Chrismas one was because I went to the Ice mountain and made a snowman with my brothers and reminds me of it.

L.I to tell others about the things we expreience today.


Today we went to the Manaiakalanai film festival inside of the cinemas .We saw alot of schools videos that were for the Manaiakalani film festival. The schools that me and my class saw were Tamaki Primary, St Patricks, Tamaki College, Panmure bridge and also Stonefields school. All these schools were not at the cinema at the same time. My favourite video was from Tamaki College; Acid, do you love me?. It was made to be a bad parody. If you see this video you will see how bad the parody is .The people inside of this manaiakalani video are Alayah , Kaitlyn , Fau , Victoria and our two teachers, But the teachers inside of this video are Mr Ogilvie , Mr Wong and Mr Johnston all of the people inside of this video are at Panmure Bridge School and The name of our movie\video is called a bit dicey. Writhing



L.I to rewrite a messed and bad written recount.
We had learnt how to make a paragraph more detailed and lining with the topic. The things we learnt with the teacher, we learnt that each group did different paragraphs. The structure of a recount is TREE. T stands for Topic Sentence, E stands for Explanation, and the other E is Ending sentence. The Topic Sentence should've continued off of the last sentence of the paragraph before, and should relate. The Explanation should tell what happened. The ending sentence should continue off to the next paragraph. 

Bundles

this week form math we had to get bundles of ten in ever math way.then we had to get materials and then we had to get lot of photos and then when we had to take lot when we had done we had to go on to blogger and then blog the work.

Today i am finishing my work off so i can get 100% on my must do so i am fishing off my last year work witch is prototec i have to go on prototec. and clke witch of thee me table time that i can do so i did 4 time table and i got 94% i was not happy but i try my best to get them all right i was so happy to do the 4 time because it my first time doing the 4 time the next i am going to do i my 12 time tables.

Basic facts

Boxing

Today LS 1 group B went to the hall to take part of boxing session with Pax. We had to pick a teammate. My partner was sakina. We then played rock, paper, scissors to see who went first. I lost so i had to sit down and my panther had to get same boxing gloves.

First we did the: Jab, jab, cross. For the jab's we had to punch with our left hand forwards and for the cross we had to punch with our right hand forward. We then did the combo: Jab, cross, left hook, cross. It was like a pattern left hand, right hand, left hand, right hand. For the left hook we had to twist in our rock position and punch sideways with our left hand and come back in our rock position. We then did the combo: Jab, cross, left hook, right hook, left upper cut, and right upper cut. It was like another pattern: Left hand, right hand, left hand, right hand, left hand, right hand. We had pool noodles to hit with the boxing gloves. We also had to move the pool noodles for the punches. Then we did all of that again for our other partner. We then had to go back to class.

I enjoyed the session with Paxs because I learnt new combos and I was pretty good at them. So  my partner  sakina. she did so good too.

Boxsing

This week Ls1 and Ls2 had their first lesson for kiwisport.When we got into the hall we had to sit down then paxs said welcome to your first lesson for boxing.After that she ask as who plays boxing. Then we had to go to the back and pick your boxing glove after we had to pick our boxing glove. After we pick our boxing gloves we had to find and partner to box with my partner was milana we had to pick who was going to number 1 2 i was number 1 and milana was number 2 after that we had to stand on the waist line and face your partner. After we had to face our partner we had to sit down and face the front so paxs can show as what to do then we had to stand and put on of your legs to the back and sit down then we had to put your hand on your face and punch and then switch your other leg and punch Then we had to take off the boxing glove and out then back where we find them then we had to go and was our hand and line back up outside after we line back outside we said goodbye to paxs and see you next week at kiwi sport then we all had to ran back and line back outside ls1 and wait quietly into mr wong come back.

L.I : To learn about causes,conflict and resolution to world [ww1] .
L.I is to learn what the M.A.I.N thing that started world War 1.
This week for Inquiry we had to find out what the Meaning of Militarism, Alliance, Imperialism and nationalism.  Mr O made a cheat sheet for us so that it could be easier. He also put links to youtube videos. So we just had to watch the videos and copy and paste the things from the cheat sheet. My buddy for this activity was Angelica. We worked really well together. WHen we finished Mr O called us to the mat. We fixed the thinks that were wrong.

Reading

This week for reading we had to pick 1 of the activity so we can work on them the activist that i had done this week is could  Venn Diagram Characters to do this you had to pick three charter from the book and put them on the  Venn Diagram Characters. After you have put the three charterer in the book and then you have to read the book and find about the felling about the  charter are they happy sad mad agree then you had to put it in the box so people no what felling the charter in story is. The book that i am reading is staring in the bay it is about three people who just live in there hues and be happy same thing they are sad mad and different other felling to.

Today I was learning how to type and LS1 teacher told us if you go on the website you might get butter with typing and when you fished tapering you go into level 2 and when you finished level 2 you carry on and now I am kinder of butter in my type ring because I away practice and that is are google  thing because eyou can get butter.

World war 1


This week in Inquiry we had to learn about world war 1. what we did was get a slide from Mr O. I had a partner to help me so it was much easier. We worked really good together. We had to make a copy of it. On this slide there was important words. We had to find the definitions of it. The next slide was where it was a timeline. Mr O and MR Wong  but a link for us to give us a hint. The hardest one for me was timeline.

Bundlings

LI: To count bundle object for counting.

This week for maths we did Bundling. First we had to make a copy and then we had to get some ice block stick after we got some ice block stick we had to put them in order and the first number that we had to make 26 in two, three, five and ten after we finished bundle we had to blog our work and then put it in the LS1 must do.

Cybersmart



This week for Cyber smart we had to play this game about Co-co's ceral website. On that website it was wanting us to make a poster and make it look nice and encourage everyone to buy Co-Co crunch, and say how crunchy and tasty it is. On my website I have a sticker with design your own Co-Co Crunch cereal box, the character lewis the dragon, the motto that tells you is tasty and crunchy and that you can come back for more and the cereal box and a contest you could enter to get one. This is the game we played for cybersmart and it was our first lesson for cybersmart for term 4.
