For inquiry we are talking Archimedes screw we had to go outside and work as a tearm to get the water our buy turning the stick around to make the water come out on the pump the rap around it

LI: To learn what a pulley does.

We learnt about the pulley witch is a simple machine that is used to pull things together or left up heavy things you do that by pulling a piece of string. To learn more about the pulley we did an activity we got two sticks and tied a rope on one of them and looped it around the other and kept going and then we had to pull and when we did that it would bring the sticks together

LI: To learn about what an incline plane is.

This week for inquiry we had to experiment with toy cars and learn what an incline plane is. An incline plane is a simple machine that has an angle to the horizontal. We had to make a photo of an everyday object that uses a incline plane. Our group chose a truck because a truck has an incline plane at the back of it to take the load out or in.

For inquiry we learnt about what a lever is.
A lever is an object that you use to lift something. Lifting something is called Leverage. Its easier to lift a load because you're using  a lever to lift up objects. The fulcrum is something that use to balance the lever. When you put an object on the lever the weight of the object with push down the lever.

Earth and Beyond 

For Earth and Beyond we had to use our knowledge and answer the question. The questions were about space and our solar System. We had to go on Auto Draw and we had to draw the planet.

This week for inquiry we were learning about mostly spacecrafts. We had to make a rocket, we had to make a google draw about the materials that are on the rocket, we also made a copy of this vs that we had to add a fictional rocket and a real rocket, we also had to make a google map about where the rockets launched. We needed to add some information about where the rocket launched and what weight it contains.

This week for Inquiry we have been learning about rockets we had find the   Distance for  the straw rocket.We had to do a straw rocket with no fins straw rocket with two and a straw rocket with the for fins. Poetry is a text for communicating ideas and expressing feelings to people or other people around you. Poetry can include sound patterns. They are rhyme and rhythm. Rhyming is repeating sounds in words. There are four kinds of rhyme: Consonance, end rhyme, alliteration, and assonance.

• End rhyme is when only part of a word rhymes with another word
• Alliteration is Alliteration is repeating the beginning sounds in a word.
• Consonance is rhyme is when a letter sound is repeated. 
• Assonance is  Assonance is repeating  the vowel in text.

This week we had our first session of KOS Keeping yourself Safe.

Personal Strengths is things that we are good at. I am good at playing netball and I like reading a book most of my spear time.

Emotions and Safe Activities
Sometimes emotions can affect peoples behaviours to make them think differently and do dangerous things. When I get certificates I feel very proud of myself which gives me the feeling to do it again. When my sister takes my stuff I get very angry and I feel like to do something dangerous. Instead of doing dangerous things I can just listen to music or ask my sister to not touch my belongings.

Types of Touch:
There is three main types of touch and they are types of touch that are Touch we like, Touch that hurts, Confusing touch we want to stop. Touch we like is a High five, Touch that hurts is a punch in the face, and a Confusing touch that we want to stop is getting a wedgie.

Safe Situations
Getting a cuddle for your parents is apart of and safety shavin and when same say to you to hop into the car will you get in our witch you not witch one is it no  yes.

Working Together | Our Relationships | How they can change

L.I: Identify actions and factors that can prevent a team from working cooperatively.

This week for inquiry we were talking about our relationships and how they can change. We also learnt the action and emotions that can happen in our relationships with other people. Our relationships can change when we do actions that can affect people's emotion.

L.I to learn about peace
Today we had to find a partner and my partner was kaitlyn and we had to go on the class site and find the world what is peace then we had to click it and work on it but first we had to make and copy and then we had to work on it. When we were working on it we had to find photo on the google side we both had to find do each of the photo i did the photo that show all the war in  world war 1 i was so happy i did this one.


After we did own world on each photo we had made and what that starts with the letter we had to make and sent with the world in it after we did that we had to make and google drew about what is peace and then we had to blog it after we had done it what is peace i had a lost of information about peace.

Roads,Highways,Motorways.

L.I is to learn the difference between roads, highways and motorways and street signs.
This week for Inquiry we are learn the different  between roads, highways and motorways. We also had to find the difference between streets, Roads, avenue and others. In this slide it also shows you images and videos for a better understanding.

Pier Foudation

This week for inquiry we are learning about all the different types of  foundations .But the first thing we had to do was we had to get into a group of 3 . My group is a group of 4 because 1 person was away so that person had too be in my group . The people in my group are Zeppelin , Sulia , Me and Angelica . We found the meaning of foundation and we also found out lots of facts and things about the pier foundation . We also had to try and make our own images about the Pier foundation .We made the images to discribe what pier the foundation looked like . LI: To find the structure of different foundations .

Panmure bridge structure

L.I To find information about the 1997.
Today for inquiry we have been learning about structure. We have been learning about how the panmure bridge got built. We had to be three people in a group. Charlize, Angelica, Liletina and me. We have done a slide showing about the things of the Panm bridge. We had fun doing this as a group using teamwork.

LI: to learn about the Circulatory System and Respiratory System
This week for Inquiry we continued doing the Circulatory and the Respiratory System. We had to finish our task. We learned that there are three blood vessels in your Circulatory System. Those three blood vessels are called Veins, Arteries, and the Capillaries. The task we finished was the Fish bone.

I learnt how to write haiku poem. We had wrote a poem about the circulatory system. We had make up an poem with in the numbers 5.7.5. We wrote our poem and also added photo's linked to the circulatory system. We showed Mr wong our poem and we only got 1 credit because a haiku poem is not really needed to be detailed.  We finished 1 compulsory task whitch was the Poem/Prose.

LI. To make a flag/Emblem for an example of the Olympic flags. I learnt this by finding out what culture. My group was Liletina, Angelica, Sione A, Florence and I. When I found out everyone's culture we put on little parts of the flag and we put it on the D.L.O. I learnt this by looking up everyone's country's flags and finding out how to make the flag on the D.L.O.The countries we put on were New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, and America. Samonacaland explains, Sam stands for Samoa, onga stands for Tonga, ca stands for America.

LI. To learn about This vs That.

This week for Inquiry we had to make a DLO about This vs That and showing facts about Olympics and PBS facts for this vs that DLO. Then we had to work in pairs and I was working with Angelica and myself. We need to find facts about the Olympics and PBS so we had to do, Olympic Motto, PBS Motto, Olympic Creed, PBS Whakatauki, Olympic Flag, PBS logo Olympic Values and PBS values and search it up on google for some facts or information for the DLO. We cooudn't find all information or facts but only found a little bit of facts or information on google then write down on the DLO This vs That. Then we had to make the connection of the Olympic flag and the PBS logo. Finally the Motto for the Olympic was kinda hard to find but then we found it and it was Citius, Altius, Fortius, but in English it is Faster, Higher, Stronger.
