L.I to learn new sounds through our session.

In Music we had learn about how to play the ukulele the song we play with the unkele was one call away the keys where C, F,G and and we  did the ukulele first before we went on to the xylophone. We practice playing C, F, G, and A on the  xylophone then we say the and song was called one call away for are very long time because did sound good and people then play to proudly. Then same people can have free the and the people have to practice with miss odie.

Music.

LI: To play the notes and chords of a song.
Yesterday the year fives went to music in room eight. We played these following songs: We don't talk anymore, Lean on me and Count on me. I went on the keyboards and unklele. When you're on the keyboards you have free time which means you can play any song or any note. I like this activity because you get to learn how to use instruments.

Inquiry

L.I To writhing different kind of poems.
For Inquiry we are doing poem about emotence . I am doing and diamante for my poem the frist world i put on my  diamante is sadness and the ending is happens.After we had done our poems we had to go to the sutures site and look for what the meaning me then we can blog it.

Reading


L.I To read and find key wolds 
This week for reading we had to find information of my book and also find keywords from our book was called skaters championship  and i had to find lost of different kind of world's after that we had to make and fill grade about our book and the keywords that we find in our books. Flip grid .

Duffy assembly.

L.I To show respect to our Duffy visitors
Today at Duffy assembly we had two nice visitors who come to our school to talk about book.
Robbie Rakete was in the wiggles, dancing with the star and he is on and beaters he like to read book and he is also and Duffy fan. Robbie Rakete join the wiggles so in the wiggles there are more of them after he talk to us about books he ask his friend if an say same thing after he talk with us they hand out the Duffy books and we sang the Duffy books.

For my can do i trots thesaurus the world i did was sadness and i went to the thesaurus site and look for the meaning of sadness and i put sadness in the middle and the meaning on the sides.

building long sentence.

L.I  To writhing and long simple sentence and add more detail.
For writhing this week we are make long simple sentence on and google side Mr Wong had put on stock videos and we had to make and basic simple sentence and add more detail to the sentence that you made.When you had done the 4 stock video that Mr Wong had made when you had done the 4 you go down to the next slide and find and stock video on YouTube.

Term 1 kiwi overview.

L.I To reap everything we did  in kiwi can. 

Today in kiwi can we recapped all of our learning from term 1. Our big theme was positive our 3 module were - positive communication, friendship,cooperation. We made 3 groups each group talk about the 5w and the 5 H module. After we talked as a group each group talked about their ideas back in class. 

One thing i enjoyed this term in kiwi can is the games that we play.
 One thing i learnt at kiwi can is about positive communication to me is saying nice world. 
One thing i need should be better at is positive relationships by communicating ideas to friends or family.

Prodigy.
Prodigy is fun to play but at the same time it talk about Subtraction, Addition, Multiplication, and Division. It also helps me with my learning because when my teacher me and question i can answer it quietly. 











Prototec. 
Prototec  helps me because when I put a answer on it and when I say I am done it tells me witch one is right and wrong and it will have the answer and then I can learn when I get home so when they ask again I can write the right answer.

Kiwi sport

LI: To identify the roles of Ki O Rahi.

What is Ki O Rahi?
Ki O Rahi is a traditional Maori Sport to stop disputes and violence between tribes back in the day. The story of Ki O Rahi.

Kioma Role
In Ki O Rahi there is two teams. One of the teams are called Kioma. The game first starts off with the Kioma team getting a kicker kicking the Ki to the Kaitiaki in Pawero, and if they do not catch it or not kick properly it is a handover and the taniwha team has to try score by throwing the Ki at the tupu, and to stop that the kaitiaki has to make sure the ki does not touch the tupu. If the Kaitiaki catches the Ki then they throw it out to their team members the kioma team out in Te Au. Kioma scores trys by touching as many Po and they have to try not get ripped by the taniwha team when they touch the po and to score in pawero through te roto.

Taniwha Role
One of the other team is called Taniwha. The Taniwha team has people in te roto the lake and try's to throw the ki at the tupu and the other teams kaitiaki needs to defend. The taniwha team needs to make sure Kioma does not get a try by ripping there tags. 

Reading.

This week for reading we had to make Summarizing docs for making Sentences so we can video on flip grid.

For exters i did handwriting  the letter i did was M i took  and photos so you can see what my handwriting look like.

Commenting

For commenting i have blog on charlize i gave her good feedback about her blog post and what she did for her blog post.

Writhing

L.I To write compound sentence on a google slide and a google doc.

On Monday the first of April We had writing. For writing we had to write compound sentence With all of the 7 fanboys . When we had finish writhing our sentences on our google doc and all of the 7 fanboys and the compound sentence . The gold ranger had to make and google slide because they had finish there working on blogging it.

Inquiry/ Poems .



Poetry is a text for communicating ideas and expressing feelings to people or other people around you. Poetry can include sound patterns. They are rhyme and rhythm. Rhyming is repeating sounds in words. There are four kinds of rhyme: Consonance, end rhyme, alliteration, and assonance.

  • End rhyme is when only part of a word rhymes with another word
  • Alliteration is Alliteration is repeating the beginning sounds in a word.
  • Consonance is rhyme is when a letter sound is repeated. 
    • Assonance is  Assonance is repeating  the vowel in text. 

    Math

    L.I : To use the graphs from last week and make it in a poster.
    This week for math we are talking about graphs. Last week we went out and played snack golf and we got our tally we had to make and drawing and make ans post about your planters and about you after you have done your post you have to show the teacher so the teacher see your roadwork then we can blog it.

    Kiwi can.

    L.I To build positive relationships .

    Today in kiwi can we were learning about friendship. we learnt that there are times we can say No ! we talked about situation were it is ok to say No ! we discussed different ways to no that don't cause disrespect. We did a activity called empathy rote play. A group acted out a situation and asa class we needed to decide the way to say No ! 
    Our options were. 
     No thank you, 
    let do something else instead
    , It just not my thing, 
    that not and nice thing to do.
