L.I:to revise the structure of a recount and reaffirm the making criteria 

This week for writing we needed to write a story about Patricia and Jaerrell. First we needed to get into groups and write down a character description. Every person from each group needed to stand up and tell us some characters. If the other group got the most votes then we would need to do the character that they did. The characters that were picked was Patricia, and Jaerrell.

LI: To learn about persuasive tools in advertising. This week for writing we are looking at different type of advertising. We had to find 3 different type of celebrity in new Zealand. The 3 famous celebrity i find was stand walker,Junlion dennison and jacinda ardern. Then we find a ad about teenagers choosing the right car for them.Then we had to find any celebrity in new Zealand.When we had find a celebrity we had to answer the 5 questions on the slide.

L.I To learn about persuasive tools in advertising
For writing this week we are learning about persuasive and tools in advertising.We got to do slide about advertising with a group of 3 in my there were sulia alayah we had to find different type of slogan for phones , food, clothing and other things too. We also had a look at different type of slogan
and there were very good one and amazing one to. Then we had to make our own slogans using the thing we like and the thing in class .Then we had to look at videos how they make the food in good and how the make in real life.

LI: To identify the verb tenses: present simple, past continuous and future continuous. This week for writing we made short videos of the present simple, past continuous and future continuous tenses. First we got into partners. We couldn't work with the same partner from last week. My partner was Angelica. We had to make twenty verbs which were not the verbs from last week. We only made seven videos of seven verbs. We had to inflect all of the verbs.

This is my writing draft, the story is not finish its just the draft bit of kinda brain storming. I wrote this draft with Afatia, Miiana and I worked on together. We worked on each one so that we could be finish with our Narrative planner draft.

On Monday me and liletina had a sleepover at her house we had so much fun we watch same movies we had same food to eat we woke a up this morning latina mum said to us two do  yous want to go shopping and we said yes and me and latina got dress. Went shopping it was and nice day i had so much fun yesterday after we done our shopping  we went to have lunch latina mom said did  you have fun and i said yes when we go home i said to Latina. It is fun at your house and her mum said you can tell your mom if you can to her again when you a good when latina dad came we went to the movies and watch it fun movie after the movie finish and we went home my mum was waiting for me when i went inside to get my things i said thank you for letting me stay at your house i  said to my mom a can i stay at latina house agani and she said yes and latina mum was telling mom that i was good and i said to mum can we go and have diner latina and she said my mom called latina mu mum if we can take latina with us and she said yes and we went pick her up and we went for dinner when we drop her off  she said thank you and  her my said byb and i said to my mom that it was a nice day and i told her all about go with latina and shopping and i said to can we take latina diner with us and she said yes and we had to call latina mum if we can take latina with us and she said yes and we went home and go dress and went and pick up latina and when to happy day i was so hugger me and latina went  and made us same food after that we had our distort then mum said it was a big day i was so happy.

The Eagle has landed

On Thursday after lunch the whole school came out of there class and sat on the grass on the top field. After that we had to stand up and walk around  the helicopter and then we sat in front of  the helicopter and asked the policeman from the Eagle helicopter questions.A helicopter can do what a plane can't do. A plane can’t land in different places. We were told that big thing on the bottom was a camera and it can see people in the night. and the evening after that Miss call Patrick told as to go back so they can go. After that the Eagle helicopter went away the Dog Squad came.

One dog named Kaho showed us what he can do to help the police to catch thieves. Police dogs can find people who are lost. After that we went to our class and finished our leaning .

How to make a vertical garden

Vertical Garden

If you follow these  instructions you will successfully

make a vertical garden.

You will need:

• A plastic bottle
• Compost
• String
• Water
• Bottle lid
• Herbs
• Scissors
• Hole  punch
• glue

Method:

1.  Plan your vertical garden with your group.

2. Cut the bottom of the bottle.

3. Make a hole on the side of the bottle

4. Cut two long pieces of the string

5. Tie the string to the holes of the bottle

6. Close the mouth of the bottle with a bottle lid

7. Pour the soil into the bottle

8. Plant your herb

9. Water the plant

10. Hang up the garden

My lost dream catcher

 “ Oh no my dream catcher has been gone," I said to myself. I screamed as loud as I could  “Who took my dream catcher? It has b gone. Someone  must have gone into my room and taken my dream catcher. Everyone just look for it I said.I went to my room and thought about were I must have put it. The next day when I went to school I said,"I wish my dream catcher could come back.

After school I went home and went to my room and I  saw my dream catcher up on my wall. I said to myself my wish has come true and my family asked, "Are you happy?" and I said, "yes."

This morning I went with 3 other children and my teacher to Te Oro. I went there to talk about what my class learned about being the kaitiaki of water. When some children stopped at our table we talked to them and showed them our work on the Apple T.V. It was exciting to be at Te Oro.
